Pro Tools Surround Mixing Facility

When we built our audio studio, we started with the concept of maximizing speed, flexibility, and quality. What we achieved was truly impressive.

At the core of our audio facility is the industry workhorse, Pro-Tools. We then enhanced the functionality by adding the Digidesign Pro-Control Audio Board. The Pro-Control seamlessly integrates with Pro-Tools to allow the sound technician to perform virtually all of their tasks on an audio console rather than using the cumbersome "point and click" that is usually associated with computer based mixing programs. Finally, by integrating the mixing facility with our edit suites, we are able to offer our clients further savings in terms of time and quality. By using the media files that were used in the picture edit, we are able to quickly access all the material that was originally digitized, this offers greater flexibility when doing the sound design, and perhaps most importantly, because we avoid excessive converting the signal to and from the computer format (the process that leads to digital artifacts and clipping), we are able to maintain the warmth and brilliance of the original recording. Experience has shown that our process is roughly 20% faster than traditional computer based audio studios, and time saved translates into more time to be creative, a better product and money saved by our clients.
